I'm looking forward to the NAMI walk tomorrow! I know it will be incredible and I can't wait to meet people who have similar mental illnesses like I have. Last year, I met Denise. She was fantastic. She is diagnosed with bipolar. For the entire walk we talked about how others support or don't support us, our journey with our illness, and everything in between. I am excited that I have my parents and my family on my side walking with me tomorrow. I will proudly wear my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder shirt and won't care if people stare at me :) We will be stomping out the stigma surrounding mental illness! Thank you to everyone who has supported my team and me. We are more than blessed with your donations and kind words.
And in other news....
I am SUPER pumped to have found out that I will, once again, be working with middle schoolers all summer! I am so excited to get this opportunity. I adore middle schoolers and all their crazy hormones!!
I will hopefully post again tomorrow all about the walk and an update on my medications and how I have been feeling :)
