Two years stronger

Today marks two years since I have been diagnosed. It's crazy to me because it seems like only a few months ago, but forever ago. I have come so far, two years of therapy, almost every week, and two years of medication seen under a psychiatrist.

But today, I want to show thanks to the people who have helped to get me here. I honestly never saw myself in the place I am today. I never could have imagined I would be this happy.

Mom- Thanks for always being there when I needed you, including the day we sat down at the kitchen table and I broke down in tears and finally told you what was going on. You and dad have supported me so much in the past two years especially. I couldn't be any more lucky!

Dad- Thanks for being a concerned parent when I needed it most. You have helped calm my triggers so much, and even though sometimes I snap at you when I'm in my 'mood' I know you understand and I love you for that. Thanks for putting up with 3 crazy hormonal women in your house!

Kyla- You are my best friend even though we like to piss each other off a lot. I seriously couldn't ask for a better sister than you. Thank you for always trying to understand and the little things you would do to cheer me up. I still have the piece of paper you stuck in my car two years ago on the day I was diagnosed. I'll treasure it forever.

The rest of the fam- Even though some of you didn't really know to what extent my mental illness is, thank you for being supportive of me. I love the fact that I get random texts from you guys when somehow you can see I am down. It makes me not feel so alone.

My coworkers - Thanks for putting up with my crazy butt. You all are the best!! Thanks for enduring the days in which I was snappy and pissed and the days when I was so drugged up on my anxiety meds I couldn't function. (hahaha Bobs) Huge thanks to Bobby who is always willing to give me a time out when my anxiety gets to high and I need a second to pull myself together. I couldn't have asked for better co workers.

Friends - Thanks for always trying to keep things normal when we hang out. You all rock!

Joshua - Thanks for being an awesome boyfriend who doesn't judge me one tiny bit and you are always there to support me through everything. I couldn't have found a better boyfriend! I love you!

My doctor, psychiatrist, and therapist - Need I say more?

Thank you to everyone who has gotten me to where I am today. I can't thank you enough for everything that you have done. I love each and every one of you!
